If it’s luxury you are looking for then this beautiful wool yarn is what you need. Equivalent to about 1 ply yarn, it would make the most beautiful shawl or blanket for your Dolls House family. Mind you they would have to be a wealthy family as it’s not cheap stuff. Imported from Germany and as used in the "Gildebrief" to make your Antique reproduction dolls socks. An average 25g ball will make 5 pairs of doll socks - using size 0.75mm (21’s) knitting needles. And to give you an idea of weight, it seems to be between the 60-count and 80-count crochet cotton in terms of thickness. 100% pure silk. Colours: some a bit obscure but I have tried my best to describe accurately; Antique white, buttery cream, peachy pink, pale aqua, light blue, peach, rosy mauve, light tan, pale olive, deep ruby and black. £1.10 per 5g ball £5.50 per 25g ball |

100% silk yarn, appears to be a little finer than the 80-count thread. (Please tell me if I’m wrong - as I’m no knitter!) It is very soft and probably a pain to knit with, but I think it would be worth the effort. Fantastic for free style embroidery work. Discontinuing when current stocks are out. 100% Silk yarn.
