These traditional sampler designs can be stitched in just a couple of evenings, yet they make heirlooms to treasure for years! Each design comes in a kit containing either a piece of 28 count or 32 count evenweave (see individual design descriptions for details), and plenty of Anchor stranded cotton, to work the design in tent stitch (similar to half cross stitch).

Ł7.25	Blackwork miniature sampler kit Suitable for those with a little stitching experience Style: Tudor This dollshouse sampler kit contains 28 count evenweave fabric. Blackwork became popular in England in the 1600's when England's monarchy had strong links with Spain, where blackwork had been popular for years. This sampler features examples of several traditional patterns, arranged around a central column. The chart for this design includes an alphabet and numbers 0 to 9, so that you can personalise it.	Ł7.25	Bless This House miniature sampler kit Suitable for beginners Style: Victorian This dollshouse sampler kit contains 28 count evenweave fabric. During the Nineteenth century, no self-respecting household would have been without this motto on its walls somewhere - usually in the drawing room or hallway.
Detailed instructions and diagrams are included, along with the cotton, a needle and a stained and varnished wooden frame which measures 1.8 x 2.1 inches (4.5 x 5.5 cm). Click here to see kit contents

Bellpull kits for your dollshouse

A range of beautiful bellpulls, all of which are to be worked on 32 count silk gauze with a single strand of Anchor stranded cotton (which is much easier to do than you'd think!). When completed, the stitched area measures 4˝ x ˝ inches. Each kit comes smartly boxed, so they make great presents.

Ł9.50	Acanthus miniature bellpull kit Suitable for those with a little stitching experience Style: William Morris (late Victorian) This design features the twisting leaf motif which William Morris loved so much. It would suit any late Victorian interior.	Ł9.50	Summer Roses miniature bellpull kit Suitable for those with a little stitching experience Style: Georgian (1714 - 1830) / Aubusson (French) The traditional bellpull design - a string of rose flowers, in shades of deep pink and old gold, some full-blown, and some just in bud. A super design, which is easier to stitch than might at first appear! Suitable for any interior, from Georgian onwards.
Ł9.50	Willow Pattern miniature bellpull kit Suitable for beginners Style: Oriental (e.g.Chinese / Persian) Willow pattern china is always produced in these beautiful shades of blue, and I feel it translates really well into stitching. This design echoes the 'Delft' needlework stand in its style and colour, and would make a great room-setting when displayed with the 'Patricia' carpet, cushion and footstool set.	Ł9.50	Tree of Life miniature bellpull kit Suitable for beginners Style: William Morris (late Victorian) Another design inspired by William Morris, based on one of the borders from a decorated manuscript that Morris published. The design features two slender stalks, along which grow fantastic and exotic blooms. Tendrils and leaves intersperse the flowers, making a very pretty design, suitable for late Victorian houses.
